Our Commitment To Health And Innovation

Apr 8, 2020 2:15:00 PM

Through these extraordinary and unprecedented times in which we find ourselves, I find myself marveling at the power of the human spirit and our ability to adapt. As an Englishman abroad, I can be forgiven for once believing that it was a quintessentially British trait to keep calm and carry on in the face of adversity. I stand corrected. Clearly, when the going gets tough, we take a collective breath, keep calm and carry on.

I am in awe of the countless people with whom I have been interacting, getting on with business, doing the very best they can under these trying conditions and prevailing. In particular, our thoughts go out to our customers in teaching hospitals and all of the medical professionals around the world, on the front lines dealing with this dreadful crisis. You are truly rock stars.

Here at GIGXR, a young and relatively small company still finding its feet, we are doing well. I am enormously proud of the team as they continue along our development path with barely a blip. And how wonderful it has been to have our video meetings play out to a symphonic soundtrack of playful children and barking dogs, enriching our interactions and reminding us that we are all in this together.

Like many tech companies, we are accelerating features that can provide benefits to our customers who are having to adjust to this new paradigm. We are not quite ready to spill the beans, but we very much look forward to sharing with you some significant developments to our platform that we believe will make a big difference in the way instructors and students experience our products, bringing benefit in the short term and long after the veil of uncertainty and isolation has lifted and life has returned to some semblance of normality. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, stay safe and well. On behalf of all us here at GIGXR, we wish you and yours all the very best.

See you on the other side.
